Youth CC Update

With only a few weeks to go in the Youth Competitions we thought it would be a good time to provide an update to the tables. We have done two versions of the YCC a 13s – 15s inclusive and a 13s – 16s. The 13-15 can provide an indication for which Youth League programs are good options as these 2019 teams become the 14-16 in 2020 which is what the YCC will be based from.

NPL1 Youth

As expected WSW well and truly ahead, 13s, 14s and 15s have all qualified for finals already, testament to the great work done by Ian Crook and his academy staff. Sutherland and Sydney FC have a bit of separation to the rest of the pack.

It is very congested between Manly United, Central Coast Mariners, APIA and Mt Druitt Town Rangers. Sydney United aren’t too far off throwing their name into that race. Then a few whole rounds of results behind are Blacktown Spartans, St George (who may yet face relegation) and Bonnyrigg White Eagles. No change down the bottom with Rydalmere Lions (who may yet face relegation) and Macarthur Rams battling each other to avoid the wooden spoon.

The 13-16 version of the table is:

NPL2 Youth

Dulwich Hill have been brilliant in their Youth League program yet again this year, holding a two round lead over Sydney Uni with only three rounds to say there is surely a few saying ‘It’s coming home!’ Parramatta FC are only a further point behind Uni, while we believe it is too late to catch Dully it will be interesting to watch how the next three rounds unfold. Quite a few clubs are stacking up behind in the race for 2nd place, Gladesville, Fraser Park, Camden Tigers and SD Raiders (who are all but mathematically promoted). Down the bottom Inter picked up a few points to close the gap a little bit to Balmain but nothing changing outside of those two and maybe Souther Branch.

The 13-16 version looks like this:
