Associations Push Back on FNSW for Reform

We’ve received a letter that has been delivered to FNSW signed by 5 associations; Northern Suburbs, Manly-Warringah, Eastern Suburbs, Football South Coast and Sutherland Shire. Unsurprisingly 5 of the biggest associations within NSW representing around 70,000 registered players.

The main takeaway from the letter is that these associations are seeking increased governance and say in the operations of FNSW, in particular to have it proportionate to the level of funding they give to FNSW.

For example NPL clubs give $50k from what we’ve been told compared to some of these associations handing over $1 million in registration fees.

We would love to hear your views on it so please let us know what you think in the comments.
